Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has mobilized to Gaaf Dhaal atoll Gahdhoo for a harbor development project.
According to the state-owned enterprise, mobilization took place on 07 May 2022, Saturday.
The project scope involves dredging and excavation operations of 23,017 cubic meters of sand volume, construction of harbor structures including a 232 meters breakwater, 35 meters revetment, 320 meters quay wall and a 320 meters scouring apron.
Additional components of the project include construction of walkway bridges (26 x 2 meters), along with the installation of a 1,600 square meters harbor pavement. Miscellaneous components of the project include installation of harbor lights.
Meanwhile, MTCC reported that the total value of the project was MVR38.4 million.
