Parliament member for Kendhoo constituency Ali Hussain have been summoned to the police station.
Speaking to the press after going to the police station Ali Hussain said that he was summoned because police wanted to clear some information regarding something he said. He also said that police confiscated his mobile phone after showing a court warrant.
He was summoned to the police regarding something he tweeted last Friday. He tweeted saying that everyone has the right to attack the police if police try to do something unlawfully.
Ali Hussain is a member of Jumuhoory Party and often criticizes the government.
