Maldives Hajj Corporation (MHC) has announced the flight schedule for Maldivian pilgrims departing for Hajj this year, with four flights planned across two airlines.
According to MHC, half of the pilgrims will travel on flights operated by Saudia, while the remaining pilgrims will be transported by the national carrier, Maldivian.
The departure schedule is as follows:
- 15 May at 15:25 — operated by Saudia
- 17 May at 07:10 — operated by Maldivian
- 18 May at 15:25 — operated by Saudia
- 19 May at 09:45 — operated by Maldivian
MHC said efforts are underway to enhance the quality of services provided to pilgrims this year. Arrangements at the tents in Mina are being upgraded, while essential services are being prepared to the highest possible standard.
The Hajj Mission is currently finalising preparations ahead of the pilgrims’ departure to Mecca and has already visited the hotel where pilgrims will be accommodated.
The Maldives receives an annual Hajj quota of 1,000 places, including individuals travelling to provide support services for pilgrims.
