Anti-Corruption Commission ACC have stated that in 2016, 855 cases were lodged at the commission.
According to the annual report of ACC, among the various cases PG office sent back 70 cases to ACC. Out of those 18 cases were to conduct further investigations and 11 of them were sent back because there was no room for prosecution.
In addition, the report states that last year 829 cases were investigated completely and out of them 14 cases were forwarded to the PG office. Last year 855 new cases were lodged at the commission while there are still 2000 unfinished cases.
