Ooredoo have said that they will provide 4G plus to all the islands of Maldives starting from 15 January 2017.
In a ceremony held to connect Ooredoo submarine cable to Hulhumale’ after connecting the cable to Addu and Thinadhoo, the CEO of Ooredoo Vikram Sinha announced their plans to introduce 4G plus across the Maldives.
Vikram Sinha said that they provide 4G services in Male’ area and wants to provide the same level of services in all the islands.
“We do not want to look at the population of the island. 200 or 10000, it does not matter for us. We want to provide the best telecommunication services to all the citizens” said Vikram Sinha.
Vikram Sinha said that they will provide broadband internet services to all the islands and assured that Ooredoo will always contribute to the development of Maldives.
