China did not release travel advisory warning its’ people to be cautious while visiting Maldives

Confirmed reports indicate Chinese government did not release travel advisory to its’ citizens visiting Maldives.
Some of the media outlets have reported China government had released a travel advisory report warning and advising its’ people to be cautious and careful while traveling to Maldives due to the ongoing civil unrest.
An online news، reports، “The advisory was released on 22nd of February following the arrest of former President Mohamed Nasheed، stating about the ongoing anti-government protests in Male’، it had also discussed of the media outlets on coverage of the protests taking place at night”.
However this news proves to be a hoax، since so far no official advisory has been released by the Chinese government، this was vouched by a Foreign Ministry official as well.
Some days back، UK and Canada had release their travel advisory، with UK releasing two of it، warning their citizens to be careful while visiting Maldives over the political turbulence driving towards a civil unrest. As well as the continued protests in the capital city، Male’.
