Home Minister Umar Naseer has stated that the location for “Minivan Dharubaaru” activity will be one of the most relaxing environments in Male’.
Minister Umar stated that the preparations for the location named “Usfasgandu 50 Minivan Dharubaaru” were not connected to the preparations carried out in Republic Square. He also stated that they were two separate celebrations.
He stated that the Minivan 50 celebrations can only be carried out in an environment that was representative of Maldives’ independence and natural beauty. Minister Umar said that based on these criteria the Usfasgandu Dharubaaru was the most apt location for such an initiative.
