Mufti Ismail Menk have said that those people who do not spend the wealth Allah has given them in ways Allah has commanded them to, will face the consequences on the day of judgement.
Mufti Menk said this at today’s Friday sermon held at Islamic Center. Mufti said that the biggest investment a human being can make is an investment made on the way of Allah. He said that when we leave this world we will have to leave back all our investments excepts the ones we make in the path of islam.
He said that spending on the way of Allah will give immense amount of goodness and no one can even estimate it. “ Even though its said that it will increase by 700 times, we do not know for sure. Only Allah knows” said Mufti.
He further said that spending even a little amount on the way of Allah will save you from hell. “spending as little as a piece of date will give you this opportunity according to Hadees. Those who say that they are not wealthy enough to spend for Allah’s sake, who cannot spend something like that among us? “ asked Mufti Menk.
