President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom of Maldives will be departing to Riyadh on an official visit to Saudi Arabia.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the President will hold talks with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud during the visit.
The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said that the two leaders would discuss bilateral relations bonding The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the State of the Maldives, in addition to regional and international developments.
Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed said that the relationship between Maldives and Saudi has strengthened like never before.
