Bank of Maldives (BML) has presented 'Employee Star Awards' to employees in recognition of their significant contributions.
The award, presented on a monthly basis, was granted to 20 employees this month.
These awards are extended to employees who have made valuable contributions to the bank and society, as well as those who have demonstrated excellence in work and ethics. The awards also recognize employees for their achievements in various activities, including education, sports, and other endeavors, as stated in the company's announcement.
Speaking at the 'Employee Star Award' ceremony held at the bank, the Bank's CEO and Managing Director Karl Stumke said, "This award is significant for acknowledging the hard and efficient work of the bank's employees, ultimately benefiting the bank's customers and the service community."
Emphasizing the consistent nature of this award, he mentioned that it is designed to motivate employees to approach their day-to-day work with increased enthusiasm.
The bank initiated the award in 2017. In addition to these accolades, 'Staff Awards' are also presented to acknowledge the best-performing employees in the bank, and 'Long Service Awards' recognize their extended service to the bank.
