Kandima resort plans open day with 250 job openings

The Kandima Maldives resort, which is making preparations to open its doors, has launched an open day with 250 job openings.
The Director of Human Resources for Kandima Mohamed Athif said that the resort had set a goal to give 65% of its available jobs to Maldivians, and are hosting open days in different islands to seek out potential Maldivian employees.
He said that open days will be held in the south in islands such as Fuvahmulah, Hithadhoo and Hulhudhoo of Addu City starting on January 20 adding that the opportunity was open to residents of Feydhoo and Maradhoo islands.
"It is the desire of our management to recruit Maldivians. So that we would have 65 percent of locals on our payroll," Athif said.
Kandima Maldives is a 274 bed resort which according to Athif was looking to open its doors next month, and that an open day would be held in Male' before the opening.
