Bank of Maldives (BML) launches their new and exclusive loyalty program for its credit card customers – on Wednesday, 27 October 2021.
Moreover, this is the very first time such a program has been launched in the Maldives. The “BML Rewards” was launched in partnership with Giift, a leading loyalty solutions provider operating across 55 different countries.
Furthermore, the BML Rewards program offers target customers to earn points for purchases on credit cards.
The points can be redeemed for a range of benefits including over 900 airlines, 650,000 hotels, car rentals and multiple gift cards from leading brands including Amazon, App Store, iTunes, Google Play, PlayStation and more.
Meanwhile, personal banking customers with American Express, Visa and Mastercard credit cards will be eligible to register for the program.
Speaking about the new loyalty program, the bank’s CEO and Managing Director Mr. Tim Sawyer commented, “we’re delighted to launch the first comprehensive loyalty program in the country which sets a benchmark of world class card privileges and unparalleled value for our credit customers.”
He further added, “Credit cards are a convenient and secure way to pay for everyday purchases, locally and anywhere in the world. We have been working hard over the past few months to bring this loyalty program and I hope to see many customers enjoying BML Rewards.”
The bank is the largest card issuing and acquiring bank in the country with over 300,000 customers and more than 7,000 active merchants.
Bank of Maldives is also the exclusive issuer and acquirer for American Express as well as a principle member in the country for Visa and Mastercard.
