Police has met with the senior members of Adhaalath Party on Thursday night.
Police media official informed “Vaguthu” that the discussion between Adhaalalath and Police was about the “Mayday” event.
Reportedly، in the discussions held between Adhaalath and Police، Sheikh Imran Abdulla، the President of Adhaalath Party has not participated and  the identities of the senior officials of Adhaalath has not been confirmed.
Meanwhile، Police has sent a letter to Adhaalath claiming that the “Mayday” event will not be peaceful considering the information received to Police. However، Adhaalath has assured that the protest will be a peaceful protest.
In the letter sent by the Police states that Adhaalath might have to carry numerous allegations following the protest and therefore requesting the protest notice to be signed by the whole Adhaalath Council instead of just the President of Adhaalath.
