Hanimadhoo constituency MP and Jumhooree Party Parliamentary Group’s Secretary General, Hussein Shahudee has said that the Jumhooree Party will give full support to the efforts made to find the missing case of Minivan News journalist Ahmed Rilwan.
Hussein Shahudee smade this remark speaking to Miadhu Daily following the meeting held between the family of Rilwan and the Parliamentary Group of the Jumhooree Party.
Shahudee said that the family sought the assistance and support of the Jumhooree Party. He said that they discussed what can be done by the Jumhooree Party to support this cause.
Shahudee said that the Jumhooree Party leader Gasim Ibrahim and all of the members of the Parliamentary Group accepted the request and stated that the party will do everything in their power to assist in finding Rilwan.
Jumhooree Party parliamentary group members also signed the petition prepared by the family to be submitted to the 241 committee of the Peoples’ Majlis.
Shahudee said that the main concern of the family was the difficulty in getting any information regarding the case from the Maldives Police Service.
