Aishath Manaal Khalid who finished grade 12 this year has been chosen as the best all-rounder of Addu High School for the year 2014.
State Minister of Ministry of Education، Ahmed Shafeeu gave away the prize and cup to Aishath Manaal Khalid at the ceremony held tonight in Sharafuddin School hall.
The state minister talked about some policies set for education in tonight’s ceremony. He noted that Addu High School is one of the schools which practiced the policy of ‘no child gets left behind’ to the greatest extent. He also said that each and every single student can become successful and that working with determination is required to achieve that.
At tonight’s ceremony، students who received top prizes in 2014 were also awarded. While 12 students of AHS were in the National Top Ten، 13 students were among the School Top Ten. Moreover، students who achieved different places in A Level and HSC examinations were also awarded with their prizes.
Addu High School is a former private school building named ‘Madhrasathul Islamiyya’ which was later taken up by the government and given its current name. Addu High School was established in the year 2011. Afterwards، the school has been remarkable in teaching for higher secondary education.
