The legal team member of former president Mohamed Nasheed، Mahefooz Saeed has been stabbed today.
Police Media Official confirmed that an individual was stabbed around 17:20 today near “Fresh” shop located at Maaveyo Magu.
An eyewitness at the scene told Vaguthu that a group stabbed Mahefooz with a knife and fled. The witness said Mahefooz was taken to the hospital on a pick-up.
Some media reports say his condition is serious.
Furthermore، senior officials of opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) were at IGMH، including Party’s PG Leader MP Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and legal team member Hisaan Hussain.
