The first episode of the PSM News programme, “Nation Chat” will be broadcast tonight at 2100 hrs.
This programme aims to inform the public about work done by the government. This information will be presented by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu.
The first episode will be focused on keys topics such as, the political climate of the Maldives, development, healthcare and social issues, and the National Service Programme. This episode will be aired by PSM News, Television Maldives (TVM), and Dhivehi Raajjeyge Adu, the national radio broadcaster.
President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has been providing information to the public via several different programmes since he began his term as President. As such, weekly press conferences have been organised to answer questions from reporters and improve public knowledge about ongoing government initiatives.
In addition to this, an exclusive programme titled “Presser with the Spox” has been carried out weekly, with the Chief Government Spokesperson, Mohamed Hussian Shareef, responding to questions from journalists.
