Public Service Media (PSM) has been officially appointed as the media partner of the Maldivian Creativity Exhibition 2025.
The Maldivian Creativity Exhibition is an initiative launched under the direction of President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, aimed at promoting creativity and supporting business growth in the Maldives. The exhibition, organised by the Business Centre Corporation (BCC) under the guidance of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade is scheduled to be held from 23 to 31 May at the Central Park in Hulhumale’.
The signing ceremony to formalise the media partnership was held at PSM on Wednesday. The agreement was signed by Minister of State of Economic Development and Trade Hussain Zamir on behalf of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, while BCC’s Managing Director Ibrahim Ziyaau signed on behalf of the company. PSM’s Managing Director Ibrahim Nasreen signed the agreement on behalf of PSM.
In an interview with PSM News regarding the agreement, MinisterState Minister Hussain Zamir said extensive preparations are underway to for the upcoming exhibition, including significant efforts to market the event.
"Under the agreement signed with PSM, BCC and the Ministry, focus will be on marketing, with focus on marketing products showcased at the exhibition at an international level,” the Minister said.
The State Minister noted that under the agreement, PSM will provide information related to the exhibition to its audience through various programmes and news bulletins.
"One of the main objectives is to support local creators in marketing their products, and we will provide significant support in this regard. The government attaches great importance to take the products of the people of Maldives to global audiences” the Minister added.
The opportunity to participate in the Maldivian Creativity Exhibition 2025 is open until 10 May. Participants are allowed to submit multiple products, and the fees charged for kiosks and stalls for businesses have been reduced to encourage wider participation.
