The police raided multiple homes in Sh. Kanditheemu on Wednesday night, in an investigation into a report lodged regarding the performance of black magic.
A police spokesperson said on Thursday that the agency received a report regarding black magic being performed in Kanditheemu.
The spokesperson said the police searched multiple properties in connection to the case on Wednesday night. However, the police did not specify a number.
The police have yet to make an arrest in the case.
An eye witness told Sun they saw the police seize evidence from some of the properties.
