MD of MACL Adhil Moosa said that, all international brands that they wanted to bring to the airport has expressed interest in providing their services at Velana International Airport.
Adhil said that they will receive proposals from various franchises in March and by April they will be able to sign contracts. Hence, he said that they will begin their services this year.
Adhil said that airport will see further development when franchise like Mac Donalds and Starbucks are opened at the airport. He said that this will benefit the customers as well. He said that 5-6 different companies expressed interest in bringing international franchises to the airport.
