Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has launched an outdoor campaign in United Kingdom to promote the Maldives.
According to MMPRC, several digital advertisements, featuring both images and videos of Maldvies, will be on display across screens at various bus stops and train stations in the UK.
These new promotional campaign placements include digital screen inside Waterloo train station, renowned for the largest indoor digital display in Europe.
"The key objective of this campaign is to reassure tourists in the UK that the Maldives remains a safe and secure destination to travel to post COVID-19, due to its unique geographical formation and one-island-one-resort concept", emphasized MMPRC.
Prior to the lockdown in March, a total of 7,288 travellers arrived from the UK, compared to the arrival of 1,587 tourists since the border reopened on July.
Identified as a leading tourist market since reopening its airways, MMPRC continues to popularize Maldives across Great Britain, with several promotional activities scheduled throughout the end of the year.
