Former Director of Administration at the Vice President's Office Aminath Maureena has been listed as a defense witness in the case filed against former Vice President Ahmed Adeeb, on charges of abuse of power.
The former Vice President's legal team had listed 13 witnesses as part of their defense, including Maureena. The state lawyers had also presented their own witnesses.
Charges of abuse of power had been filed against the ex-VP following the blast aboard the Presidential speedboat, "Finifenmaa". He has also been charged with terrorism in the same case.
