A delegation of the All Party British-Maldives Parliamentary Group led by Sir David Amess called on His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Asim this afternoon. During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the delegation held discussions on strengthening bilateral relations between the Maldives and the United Kingdom.
The delegation of the All Party British-Maldives Parliamentary Group arrived in the Maldives this morning on an official visit, on the invitation of the Government of Maldives. Members of the delegation were received on arrival at the Ibrahim Nasir International Airport, by Mr. Ibrahim Shaheeb, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
During the visit, the Delegation will also hold meetings with Government Officials and political parties.
