PG Office has forwarded for prosecution the case where a forged arrest warrant was issued on President Yameen Abdul Qayyoom.
Former PG Muhthaz Muhsin and ADh Maamiligili Magistrate Court’s Senior Magistrate Ahmed Nihad had been named as co-respondent in the case.
Four separate cases had been raised against Nihan in connection to the case; forgery of legal documents, attempted illegal detention of an individual, abuse of power and abuse of position to achieve criminal goals are amongst the cases filed against him.
Three separate cases were filed against the former PG. Muhthaz will face charges of forgery of legal documents, attempted illegal detention of an individual and abuse of a legally binding document which is normally issued for specific purposes.
