Top destination promoter of the island nation, Visit Maldives launches new outdoor marketing campaign in association with Italy’s Mediamond to increase the destination and brand presence for the Maldives in the Italian market.
Furthermore, the outdoor marketing campaign will be held in two phases and will run for a duration of three months in December 2021 and the first week of January 2022.
The campaign is utilized to promote Maldives as a safe haven for travelers while increasing the brand awareness and presence in the Italian tourist market, and re-establish the country as a top-of-the-mind tourist destination ahead of the winter holidays.
Moreover, the campaign involves digital advertising of the Maldives displayed at six strategic areas in Milan.
The marketing campaign will assist in creating awareness on different segments of Maldives tourism including romance, wellness, luxury, diving and watersports.
Meanwhile, the joint marketing campaign coincides with several other island destinations opening up for Italian travelers.

Furthermore, the media campaign by Visit Maldives in association with Mediamond falls in line with the destination promoter’s strategy for the Italian market.
