A two-year-old boy has suffered burns after he fell into a hot fish soup pot in Dhaalu Hulhudheli.
A resident of Hulhudheli told Sun Online that the incident took place at around 5:00 p.m. while the boy was alone at home, when his parents went to pay their final respects to a neighbour who had passed away.
He said that the child suffered serious burns on 85 percent of his body.
The boy was treated at Hulhudheli Health Centre, and is now being transported to the Atoll Hospital in Kudahuvadhoo.
