SS Media signs as media partner for Island Carnival in Fuvahmulah

Sun Siyam Media on Wednesday signed as the media partner for Island Carnival, a festival organized by Adventure Up that is set to kick off in Fuvahmulah City in September.
The partnership agreement was signed by SSM’s CEO Mohamed Asif (Mondhu) and Adventure Up’s Managing Director Sham Naseer on Wednesday morning.
The Island Carnival is set to take place in Fuvahmulah from September 5-8.
According to Sham, the purpose of the festival is to introduce new experiences in islands for the enjoyment of people, especially children and young people, across the Maldives.
The Island Carnival offers people the opportunity to enjoy exciting games like bull riding, wipeout, reflex game, laser tag, gladiator duel, and also 360 video booths.

Sham said that in addition to game booths, the carnival will also offer businesses the opportunity to showcase their products with food stalls.
“The event will be held at the official sports field in Fuvahmulah. Come and experience our games and food stalls there. Its open for everyone,” he said.
Sham said that they decided to hold the carnival in Fuvahmulah due to the island’s efforts to expand local tourism.
He also noted that Fuvahmulah, one of the most populous islands in the Maldives, will also be hosting the Makita National Junior Athletics Championship in September, attracting hundreds of visitors to the island.

Sham thanked the Fuvahmulah City Council for its support towards the Island Carnival.
He also said that Adventure Up decided to choose SSM as the media partner for the event due to their expertise in providing media coverage for such events.
“SS Media was our first and only choice. We did not approach any other media team. We have trust [in them]. SS Media has the team that can deliver this to the people,” he said.
Adventure Up plans to follow up on its Island Carnival in Fuvahmulah with similar editions in islands across the Maldives.
