Education Minister Dr. Aishath Shiham has stated that all preliminary work related to schools will be completed before the start of 2016 academic year.
Speaking to press, Minister Shiham said that teachers will be appointed to all schools across the country. She added that next year all pre-schools will formally go under Ministry administration and that all preparations for this are under way.
Dr. Shiham also noted that all repair, renovation and construction of schools were under way.
Minister Shiham added that the administrative work of transferring students have been arranged and that parents were finalizing the details. She said that the Ministry had begun the process middle of this year.
