Former President Mohamed Nasheed has said that the MDP will do everything possible to defend the leader of the Jumhooree Party, Gasim Ibrahim.
Speaking at the rally held by MDP at the Carnival state on Friday night, Mohamed Nasheed said that he would defend Leader of Jumhooree Party, Gasim Ibrahim from all works carried against him, till his last breath.
Nasheed said that regardless whether the Jumhooree Party leader, Gasim Ibrahim is a political enemy, he will do everything he can till his last breath to defend GAsim Ibrahim from the injustices caused to him by the government.
Nasheed said that MDP is not trying to orchestrate a coup against the current government and it is wrong for the government to believe such.
He said that MDP will continue their efforts to protect and defend the constitution.
