Maldives Police Service (MPS) officers have searched M. Kurirugge، a residence near M. Cessna over the alleged corruption case of Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC).
The authorities conducted the search for over two hours، and according to the reporters at the scene، they did not take any items from the house.
Police cordoned off the area prior to the search. The search was carried out by MPS Forensic officers and Special Operations (SO) officers.
So far، it is not confirmed the details of the residence or the reasons for the search.
M. Kurirugge is inside an alleyway adjacent to M. Cessna، which was previously searched by the security forces.
M. Cessna is the residential home of Mohamed Allam Latheef (Moho)، whose being hunted by the security forces over the weaponry found at Baa atoll Hibalhidhoo، linked to the alleged assassination plot on President Abdulla Yameen.
