Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr, Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has said that Islam is against oppression of all forms.
Dr. Shaheem made this remark speaking at Raajje Miadhu program of TVM. He said that equality and justice should be established without any exception.
He said that Allah has forbidden oppression and it is something that Allah prohibited upon Himself.
Dr. Shaheem noted that the accused should be given the opportunity to defend him or herself during the court trial.
He said that the judges should fear Allah and should establish justice. He said that those who establish justice and issues just verdicts have a hight status.
