The Minister of Foreign Affairs Dunya Maumoon has sent a message of greetings to the Minister of External Affairs of India، Sushma Swaraj، on the Anniversary of 69th Independence of India.
On a message sent to Minister of External Affairs of India، Minister Dunya extended facilitations and sincere good wishes to the Government and the people of India.
Furthermore، she reiterated the commitment to strengthen the strong bilateral ties enjoyed over the years between the Maldives and India.
She also stated that she is confident that the two countries will remain close partners، and engage further for the mutual benefit of our two nations and work closely to promote and strengthen regional cooperation in South Asia.
In addition، Minister Dunya conveyed best wishes for success، and continued peace، progress and prosperity for the people of India.
