Guest of Honour for the 61st Independence Day celebrations concludes official visit to the Maldives

His Royal Highness Prince Dr Mansour bin Mutaib bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Minister of State and Cabinet Member of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has departed the Maldives after concluding his official visit to attend the celebrations commemorating the 61st Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Maldives.
His Royal Highness attended the celebrations as the Guest of Honour on behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, at the invitation of His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu.
During the visit, His Royal Highness paid a courtesy call on President Dr Muizzu at the President's Office, where they discussed further strengthening the longstanding bilateral and brotherly ties between the two nations. President Dr Muizzu also hosted a luncheon in honour of His Royal Highness, reaffirming the close friendship and strong bilateral relations between the Maldives and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The visit concluded with His Royal Highness attending the official Independence Day celebrations at Republic Square as the Guest of Honour.
His Royal Highness was seen off at Velana International Airport by Her Excellency Iruthisham Adam, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and His Excellency Mohamed Naseer, Principal Secretary to the President on Foreign Relations.
