Application open for 3 CSC member seats again

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has reopened applications for the three forthcoming vacancies on its commission, as the terms of its current members are nearing their conclusion.
Applications for commission membership were initially solicited on the 6th of the current month, with a submission deadline of the 20th of the same month.
The President’s Office announced on Tuesday that applications will now be accepted until 1200 hours on the 12th of the following month.
Application forms may be submitted to the President's Office between 0830 hours and 1200 hours on non-public holiday weekdays throughout the designated application period.

The incumbent members of the Civil Service Commission whose terms are expiring are Chairman Mohamed Nasih, Mohamed Farshath, and Fathimath Shareef. These three individuals commenced their appointments to the commission on September 3, 2020, and their terms are set to expire on September 3 of the current year.
Uz. Mohamed Mujuthaz was the most recent appointee to the commission, assuming the role of Vice-President ten days subsequent to his appointment.
In addition to the outgoing members, Fathimath Habeeba is also a current member of the commission, having been appointed on June 4, 2024.
The standard term of office for members of the Civil Service Commission is five years.
