Tuesday onwards, tuna cases will be distributed from MIFCO outlets

Minister of Cities, Local Government and Public Works Adam Shareef has announced that from Tuesday onwards, the tuna can cases the government is disbursing as Ramadan gifts will be distributed from MIFCO outlets.
Shareef said that as of now, tuna can cases have been disbursed to 48,000 households in the Male' area. Until Tuesday, distribution will continue at the 13 designated centres, he said.
From Tuesday, distribution will be shifted to MIFCO shops, he said. Distribution will be conducted at official opening hours from all MIFCO shops in Male' and Hulhumale'. The online token system will be used for this as well, he said.
Distribution of tuna can cases in the Male' area was commenced on February 20. Initially, it was being distributed from five centres. However, long queues and waiting times led the government to introduce additional distribution centres and an online token system.
