The First Lady and Chief Guide, Sajidha Mohamed, graced the 2025 Annual General Meeting of the Maldives Girl Guides Association, held at Mookai Hotel this morning.
Upon arrival, the First Lady and the reception’s guest of honour, the Asia Pacific Regional Committee Chair of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS), were accorded a guard of honour.
During the meeting, the minutes of the 2024 meeting were approved, and the annual and financial reports for 2025 were presented.
A token of appreciation was presented to Niumath Shafeeq, Chair of the Asia Pacific Regional Committee of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS).
