Police have arrested two 18 year old males and two minors for stabbing and injuring a foreigner Gaaf Alif atoll Maamendhoo on Saturday night.
Upon a court order، police detained the four individuals tonight. A team of police officers from Villingili were dispatched to the island last night، who began the investigation immediately.
Police informed the stabbing took place around 22:10 last night، and the Bangladeshi foreigner sustained 2-3 stab injuries to his arm.
While the foreigner was taken to Villingili for treatment، Police said he did not sustain serious injuries.
Police further said the matter was under investigation، however، no suspects were arrested.
