Former Minister of Defence and National Security Colonel Rtd. Mohamed Nazim، who is convicted of possession of dangerous weaponry. has consulted a doctor at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).
He was brought to IGMH under the supervision of Maldives Correctional Services at 11:00 this morning.
Reports say Nazim consulted to a doctor to check his eyes، following few weeks of pain.
After he was jailed، he has received treatment at ADK Hospital for tooth problems، and travelled to Singapore for health reasons.
Nazim was sentenced to 11 years in prison on 27 March 2015، on charges of possessing dangerous military-grade weaponry.
