Abdulla Mizan has said that there is no future for the youth without the founder of Villa Foundation and leader of the Jumhooree Party, Gasim Ibrahim.
He made this remark speaking at the press conference held at Adhaalath Party office. He said that Gasim Ibrahim is arguably the most inspirational leader in our country.
Mizan said that Gasim is the philanthropist who assisted most Maldivian youth in getting their higher education.
He said that Gasim has funded thousands of Maldivian youth for higher education. Many Maldivian youth got education funds from Gasim and earned Degrees, Master Degrees and PhD’s from Malaysia, Srilanka, Singapore, Australia, Newzeland UK and various other European countries.
Mizan said that today Gasim is being oppressed by the government and this cannot be tolerated by the youth.
“He is now in political shackles. This is not something hidden from the youth,” he said.
Mizan said that those who are sitting in comfort in big seats are those who got their education because of Gasim.
He said that if they continue harassing Gasim then there will be no person who will provide education for the youth in the future. He stressed that all youth should stand and advocate for the rights of Gasim.
