The President of the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom is to make a two day State Visit to Pakistan from the 6th of May, 2015.
President Yameen will be accompanied by First Lady Fathimath Ibrahim.
The President will also be joined by a high-level delegation that includes the Speaker of the People’s Majlis Honorable Abdulla Maseeh Mohamed, Cabinet Ministers and Members of the People’s Majlis.
President Yameen is scheduled to call on the President of Pakistan, Mamnoon Hussain.
During the State Visit, President Yameen will hold one-to-one deliberations with Pakistani Prime Minister His Excellency Mohamed Nawaz Shareef, on charting the course for future Maldives-Pakistan bilateral ties.
President Yameen and Prime Minister Nawaz Shareef will also lead Official Bilateral Talks between senior delegations of the two countries.
In this visit, the two countries will enter into bilateral agreements covering sports, healthcare, education and combating narcotics drugs.
