A foreigner، at work، has reportedly sustained serious injuries after falling off a building under construction in Henveyru district، capital Male’ City.
The Bangladeshi man fell off from the roof of H. Timeless، a building reportedly of five storeys.
Police، on their website، have stated the incident occurred at 16:15 on Sunday، and the injured man has been taken to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital for treatment.
Police further disclosed the man fallen on to the roof of the adjacent building.
Zeenath Ali Habeeb، media coordinator at IGMH، said the man was brought to the hospital at around 16:45، and although no serious injuries were seen outside، investigations were being carried out.
