The Youth Wing of the Maldives Development Alliance (MDA) has decided to propose to the President Abdulla Yameen to nominate the party’s leader Ahmed Siyam as the new Vice President of the Maldives.
The youth wing president Ahmed Reehan told Vaguthu that a letter will be sent to President Yameen next week، requesting to nominate Siyam as the new vice president.
“We want Siyam as the next vice president as he is capable and also he is very loyal to the president،” Reehan said.
Reehan noted that a huge number of youth، as well as many members of the parliament wishes Siyam to become the next vice president.
