Bank of Maldives (BML) has said that it’s Twitter account was hacked last night، and was used to post political tweets.
According to BML، there was an unauthorized access to BML’s Twitter account last night. However، BML took immediate steps to rectify this.
“BML will never comment on political viewpoints or commentary of social media users.”
BML Twitter account has been brought under the control of the bank، and it is noteworthy that BML’s Twitter account is a verified account.
