Threatening messages in the name of Home Minister Umar Naseer have been received by the members of opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP).
The members are receiving the messages while the party has planned to hold a mass rally tomorrow.
North-Macchahgolhi MP Mariya Ahmed Didi tweeted with a screenshot of the message.
The message، in the name of home minister، threatened the members not to go for the rally، or the rally will be attacked with an explosion.
The messages came in the same manner as the fake message of home minister claiming that ‘we need to save our nation from vice president’.
Home Minister has stated that those messages are all false and not from him.
