Foreign Secretary Dr. Ali Naseer Mohamed called on the Minister of External Affairs of. Sushma Swaraj today.
During the meeting, the External Affairs Minister and the Foreign Secretary discussed ways in further expanding and enhancing cooperation between the two countries.
Foreign Secretary also handed over a letter from the President of Maldives to the Prime Minister of India.
Also Foreign Secretary of Dr. Ali Naseer Mohamed met with the Foreign Secretary of India, Dr. S. Jaishankar on friday in New Delhi.
The meeting took place over a lunch hosted by the Indian Foreign Secretary.
During the meeting, both Foreign Secretaries exchanged ideas on enhancing economic engagement and cooperation between the two countries.
