Bank of Maldives has announced the recipients of its Housing Grant announced earlier this year. This is the Bank’s fourth event as part of its 40th Anniversary monthly initiatives.
Through the Housing Grant, BML will be funding the building and furnishing of houses for three vulnerable families across the country. Local Councils and NGOs were invited to apply for the Grant, and recipients were selected through a comprehensive evaluation process.
The recipients of the Housing Grant are:
BML’s In-charge and Acting MD, Aishath Noordeen noted supporting communities with initiatives such as the Housing Grant, is a main focus of the bank’s CSR strategy. She further noted the bank is delighted to have the opportunity to support the most vulnerable members in our society. “I’m confident our financial support to these housing projects will help generate significant positive and enduring impact for these families for years to come,” Noordeen said.
Housing Grant was introduced as part of the series of 12 high impact monthly community initiatives to celebrate the Bank’s 40th anniversary in November.
