Foreign Minister of Japan sends commemorative message on the occasion of upcoming visit to Maldives

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, His Excellency Hayashi Yoshimasa will make an official visit to the Maldives from 29 to 30 July.
Commemorating his visit the country, the Government of Japan as conveyed the cordial video message of the Foreign Minister, with introducing greeting from Her Exellency Takeuchi Midori, Ambassador of Japan to Maldives.
In the message, Ambassador of Japan stated that she is very much delighted to receive Foreign Minister Hayashi Yoshimasa in this beautiful country, following the visit by Former Foreign Minister Kono Taro in 2018.
She also conveyed warmest greetings and felicitations to the government and the people of the Maldives as the country marks Independence Day. And also wishes for the continued peace and prosperity of the Nation.
Additionally, Ambassador also mentioned that Japan and Maldives shares a special partnership, sharing the long-lasting political economic and socio-cultural links for ages. And also the Japan-Maldives partnership, is based on mutual respect and trust, And is strengthened by shared beliefs in democracy and the rule of law.
Furthermore, The Ambassador noted that both countries have a deepening ties of friendship and cooperation for the half-century since the establishment of diplomatic relations back in 1965. And expressed interest to continue further developing this special partnership between both the countries.
