Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened the application window for proposals under its Community Fund initiative.
This marks the second phase of the Community Fund initiative the bank is carrying out in 2022.
Under the fund, locally registered NGOs can access funds of up to MVR50,000 to initiate projects within the Maldives in areas of education, environment, sports and community development.
As per BML, locally registered NGOs can send their proposals along with the supporting documents to community@bml.com.mv before 23:59hrs of 18th June 2022.
The Community Fund initiative aims to empower local NGOs in contributing to their respective communities through sustainable projects.
So far, BML has provided funds for 65 similar projects all across the island nation.
