Youth of today; commit acts of sin at the comfort of bed and room says Mufti

Famous religious cleric، Zimbabwe’s Mufti Ismail Menk states that the youth of today commit acts of sin at the “comfort” of their homes، rooms and beds.
While meeting with youths at University auditorium، Mufti Menk stated that in today’s technological age، the method committing acts of sin have changed، and youth had opted to use internet in secrecy for such “indecent” activities.
In Mufti’s speech، he mentioned that while such acts are considered insignificant، it is however otherwise.
Mufti had also highlighted on Maldivian youths following famous footballers، and their love for the game. He stated that acknowledging and following such players is not wrong as long as it stays is adequate boundaries، and that youth should avoid “idolizing” such famous figures. He had also added that the best role model for youths must be Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). He made the statements during his religious preach، titled “A Model For Youth.”
While delivering his speech، Mufti had also noted that it is a saddening factor that Maldives has the highest rate of divorce، asserting the reasons behind such a rate of divorce in Maldives is correlative to people committing to marriage without proper knowledge and importance of it.
He had also highlighted that many Maldivians، today، believe that marriage is a barrier towards an independent lifestyle. Mufti Menk stated that for marriage everyone requires a pure and good-intentional heart، but not the exterior beauty.
Following the preaching، a special Q&A session was opened for youths to inquire any necessary questions regarding religion.
