President appointed special Task Force leader، Defense Minister Colonel (retired) Mohamed Nazim has stated a discount of 30% will be apportioned to the water bills of every resident for the month of December.
Speaking at a press conference held this evening، Nazim stated that President Yameen has decided to give a discount of 30% on all water bills charged to every resident in the capital city over the current crisis of water shortage in Male’ from MWSC due to the accident. He also stated that decision was coincided by all the board members during the board meeting held today at MWSC، adding that this would be of significant ease for the citizens in Male’.
“A board meeting took place in MWSC today، during which they came to an important decision. The board has decided to allocate a 30% discount on water bill charges for every resident for the month of December. Gladly this news would serve as a great joy for the people of Malé” Defense Minister Nazim stated.
Nazim also stated that MWSC is scheduled to release water for residences starting from 22:00hrs till 00:00hrs tonight and again tomorrow from 08:00hrs till 10:00hrs in the morning، but due to low pressure water must be accessed via ground level taps.
